Reported Speech (Indirect)

First things first Susan, Hello and thanks for letting us interview you.
It’s not show offbut I really enjoy being interviewed so, it’s a pleassure.
Should I start asking who are you, for those who doesn’t know?
(Laugh) You must! No, ok… I’m just a singer and an actress, Oh! And the voice of the Apple assistant Siri.
Yes, just that… (laugh) Let us know how you got this job…
Well, I started in the voice recording sector in 1974 as the voice of The First National Bank of Atlanta and then a friend suggested me my current job, I hace been being the voice of Siri since 2011.
Have you took part in any Apple commercial?
Of course, haven't you ever noticed my voice on them?
I must pay more attention next time I see any...
Going back to the interview, what makes the difference between Apple commercials and other brand ones?
Under my point of view, Apple always releases reviews in every kind of mass media about any of their new devices, it also appears advertisded in many chat shows and quiz shows. Apple just thinks different!
Got it! Do you think Apple offers a good platform and campaign to capture workers?
Yes it does, in fact today it is launching a new advert in all the national papers to attract young computer engineers...
What are the future plans of the company?
Wow!! Apple is always innovating, you never know how it is going to be it's new device, they keep thatkind of stuff very secretly.

Steve Jobs
He was born in 1955, in San Francisco (California, USA). Steve was an entrepreneur and a businessman in the computer  industry and in the American entretainment industry.
Apple Logo
Thelogo is a tribute to Alan Turig the fundator of the modern computer industry, he died after bitting an apple that was supposed to cure his homosexuality in jail.

What are your plans for the future Susan?
For the moment I'm staying in Apple company... but I'm sure I will follow in new tech-companies, as I've always said, The present now is the past, but the future will always be the future.
Do you go to work everyday, like everyweek?
Not at all, I'm very lucky with my job, I mean... I only work a month per year and It's usually in June.
How can that be possible?
Because of the recording, every Apple device is released on September so the recording season is in June to keep all the tings ready in July for the release, all the script is done by other Apple workers, I only have to read in loud and record my voice at the studio.
And... do you earn enough money for living?
Yes, fortunately I do, if not I would have to look for another job... (laugh) But then Siri would lose part of her personality.
Thanks for being here withg us Susan!
Thank you all! Have a nivce day...

Jurassic World

Jurassic World, directed by Colin Trevorrow and starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, it's the 4th film of the Jurrassic Park saga, wich was first released in 1993. It tells the story pf the reopening of an awesome theme park after the closing of a previous one.

Two boys are invited to the park by their aunt, the manageress of the park. The park has been working well in spite of the wild dinosaurs that live there, but it has a new incorporation, it's a dinasour created by mixing the diferent DNA of several species.

All looks like it's under control until the "new dinosaur" runs away from its cage and the park falls into a total chaos. Eventually the help of militar army is needed because many other dinosaurs have escaped, all the people have to leave the park and go back to their homes feeling lucky to survive.

You'll love the action and the special effects behind the story, sometimes it's even shocking! I really recommend it, it's very exciting!

Should students wear unifroms?

Uniforms have always been an issue for parents, children and teachers... There is a wide range of opinions about this topic but many of them are about the right of freedom.

One advantage of uniforms is that they provide discipline and respect. Many studies claim that in schools where the uniform is compulsary there is a less tarjet of discrimination. What's more, the use of uniforms make students feel more identified with the school and it's cheaper because parents won't have to spend too  much money in casual clothes.

On the other hand, a lot of people think it's removing the right of freedom, this is the biggest problem due to students aren't able to express their opinion through their outfit. Moreover they are sexist, so boys have to wear trousers and girls skirt.

To sum up, I think that an uniform can delete inequalties between students but taking away their freedom of expression, it's the price they have to admit.

Sweeney Clot

Todsweeny.jpg

The play is based on a famous character in the XIX century London called Sweeney Todd, a barber who killed his customers and who gave the victims to his partner on crime who cooked and baked them into meat pies.

This play was fair different to the real version because it was a comedy, despite murdering the customers the barber killed them by accident because when he gets nervous his hand shakes.

I really liked it and It was so funny, in fact I laughed a lot...
The actors were so good and made the play a real comedy-drama representation with many amusing songs.

I recommend that if you want to enjoy a great time you have to go and see it.
